Little Lady Longhorns WIN!!!

After 4 straight losses, Karagen's 8 and under softball team finally won their first game. Karagen scored a run and pitched all in the same game. It is so much fun to watch them play. Although a little nerve racking at times,it is great to see their faces when they are proud of themselves.

Halloween

Boy Halloween gets tougher and tougher every year. Karagen can't ever decide what she want to be. First she was going to be a Ranger football player. Now she has decieded she wants to be a "baby doctor". We spent 45 minutes at Target trying to find a costume for her with no luck. Then it hit me... order it online. So it takes me a while. So here is Karagen's costume.

Reagan is going to be a Ranger cheerleader. I will post pictures of them I'm sure.

Favorite New Product

Okay, many of you know I've been TRYING to lose weight my entire life. I feel like if I throw this out there it will help me stick to it. This is the YEAR I'm going to lose all the weight and KEEP it off. I've been doing Weight Watchers since January 2007. I've lost 30 lbs so I feel like I've done pretty well. There is still more to lose! A friend of mine introduced me to this new product call Osolean. I've been taking it for a week and a half and I've lost 2 pounds.

It’s all natural and mixes with the foods and beverages you already enjoy. Best of all, OsoLean™ powder has been shown in a clinical study to help target fat loss and spare lean muscle when combined with the OsoLean Plan and proper exercise. I put it in my coffee in the morning and drink it with a glass of milk when I get home in the afternoon.

OsoLean powder is a specially formulated whey protein blend that includes an advanced protein peptide technology. Through a patented process, specific parts of whey protein, called peptides, are separated and concentrated to ensure the optimal level of fat-loss peptides. These peptides are blended with calcium-rich minerals from whey to make OsoLean powder. If you want more info let me know. I've signed up as a member. No I'm not selling anything it's just cheaper if you do this. Let me know if you want more info. They have all kinds of all natural products. I'm going to start the girls on the children's vitamins.

You do have to excersie at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. Believe it or not have have started running... Okay well I'm running in the pasture so no one sees me because I'm sure it's not a pretty sight but I've really enjoyed it. I actually look forward to it. I reflect on the day and clear my mind. I have also started doing Leslie Samsone "Walking a Home" videos.

I'm on my way to a happy, healthier me. THIS IS THE YEAR I"M GOING TO DO THIS. Check back soon and I'll keep you updated with my progress. It will hold me more accountable if I post it.

A Wonderful Weekend

I just love fun relaxing weekends. Friday, my mom took the girls home with her to have a girls night or as Kendall calls them a sleep over. My wonderful husband brought home dinner from a fundraiser they were having at work. So not only did I not have anyone to cook for but I didn't have to cook. What more could any Mom ask for. I was in bed and asleep by 9:00. It was so nice to be able to do this. THANKS MOM for letting me have a night to myself. Saturday and Sunday were just plan fun. Karagen had softball practice for a few hours and then we went to lunch. Karagen feet are gr owning like a weed so she needed new cleats so we did some shopping. Ryan's family came over for dinner and we played a few rounds of Redneck Golf.If you have never heard of this game it is so fun.

On Sunday, we rode around on the four wheeler most of the day. Karagen had bowling practice for an hour so we went to the bowling alley. Reagan got to play at her Omie Margie's house without anyone to bother her. She was in Heaven. In case I hadn't mentioned it Reagan is some what of a loner. She could care less what others are doing.

I did get to clean out my closet which is a HUGE task. I put another dresser to hold our T-shirts and shorts. I was tired of shoving them in the other dresser or having them fall off the shelves. So it was some what of a productive weekend. Hope you had a great one.

Not Much to Blog About

I don't really have much to blog about but I just felt like blogging. I have less than 2 weeks until the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk. I have met my goal of $200. Thank you to all of you that donated. My sister donated the sale of a monogrammed bag. Thanks Brandi for doing that. You can still donate to the team that I am walking for, Hannah's Bears by going to my website http://walk.jdrf.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=extranet.personalpage&confirmID=87110073. I am walking with a student of mine this year. She is a wonderful little girl. I'm not going to lie, I was a little scared to have her in my class given all the logistics of her illness. Truly, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. We are learning as we go... I saw we because I'm learning more and more everyday. This illness SUCKS. That's why I'm asking for your donation. If we can find a cure in Hannah's lifetime it would be a gift sent from Heaven.

Anyway, we went to the coast over the weekend. It was beautiful!! Hurricane Ike might have done a number on part of the coast but Port A was great! There was a lot of standing water in places that usually dosen't have any but other than that it was fine. The girls had fantastic time as well. Thanks to my wonderful husband I got to spend the day on the beach all by myself.

School is going great. Karagen has received a 100 on every spelling test so far. She is loving first grade. We haven't regrated for a second putting her in pre-1st. Now the school district is doing away with the program so we have to decide what we will do with Reagan. With her birthday being the middle of May, she would benifit from an extra year. Chalk another one up to budget cuts. Karagen started dancing again after doing a year of gymnastics. She really likes it. We've also started the New Braunfels Girls Softball league. They are the Little Lady Longhorns. If you know Ryan, he wasn't very happy about that. Her coach is awesome. She's been coaching for 14 years and has a daughter on the team. Of course I agreed to be the team mom because I inherited the " I just can't say NO." trait from my Mother. Reagan loves being able to stay at her house with my mom and her friend Jaxson on Mondays and Fridays. She will ask everyday " Is Jack coming to my house today?" She is so much fun. Talking up a storm. I'm not sure where she gets that from???

Please don't forget to pray for my friend Lynn. Her surgery is scheduled for October 13th. I know she will be fine but a little prayer won't hurt.
