Amber Alert from our Area!!!
The following is an email that I received at school this morning. Please be on the look out if you live in this area.
By now we hope you have heard through all of the mass media coverage and Amber Alerts that one of our first-grade students, Jewel Noel Klein, was allegedly abducted by her mother on Tuesday afternoon. According to official court documents filed with the school, Jewel’s mother and grandmother both had rights to pick up the girl at school.
We are working closely with the Comal County Sheriff’s Office as they are in charge of the investigation and search for Jewel. To view the Amber Alert that was issued around 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon go to http://www.ncmec.org/missingkids/servlet/AmberServlet.
Jewel has blond hair, blue eyes, is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds. The car they believe she is in is a blue 2005 Hyundai Sonata, Texas license plate 404ZNM.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call the Comal County Sheriff’s Office at 830.620.3400.
We are hopeful and praying that she will be found safe and sound soon. Thank you for your assistance!

Read my blog, PLEASE!!!
I was told by my sister today that more people would read my blog if I would change it more than once in a few weeks. We have had a busy several weeks. Karagen finished softball the first week of November. She actually caught the last play of the game for the WIN! They only won 2 games the entire season but they actually learned a lot. She is now gearing up to play basketball. She is so excited!
Reagan was sick for a couple of days last week so I stayed home with her. She had an ear infection. Or as she put it her "ear was bleeding". I'm telling you this kid is so funny. You never know what is coming out of her mouth next. Anyway, the doctor put her on an antibiotic that made her sick. For 2 days she was laying around the house. When I say laying, I mean literally crawling on the floor going to the restroom because she didn't have the energy to stand up. It was so sad to see a child that can't sit still so sick.
I had a wonderful visit with an old friend last weekend. I can't wait for Kelly to move back. We have so much to catch up on. It is amazing how two people that haven't seen each other in years can pick up where we left off. That is true friendship. I love you, Kelly. I had a blast with you.
This weekend was a busy one. We got to have a family dinner on a FRIDAY night. The football game was on Saturday this week so we got to spend some time together. Saturday was my niece's birthday party. Miss Fancy Nancy herself turned 3 on Nov.7th. I can't believe that little Blondie sassy thing is 3. If you ask her who is bossy she will tell you her Aunt Shanna. She is a little Miss Prissy.
Now we are getting ready of Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This is my favorite time of year. I love the cool weather and the smiles on people's faces. We listened to Christmas music while we went shopping today. The girls saw Santa at Bass Pro shop Saturday night. We took a family picture because little "Miss I'm not scared of anything" wouldn't let me leave her side. She never cried, but wouldn't let go of me. We have a week and half until Thanksgiving break. This school year is flying by. I have a great class.

Little Lady Longhorns WIN!!!
After 4 straight losses, Karagen's 8 and under softball team finally won their first game. Karagen scored a run and pitched all in the same game. It is so much fun to watch them play. Although a little nerve racking at times,it is great to see their faces when they are proud of themselves.
Halloween
Boy Halloween gets tougher and tougher every year. Karagen can't ever decide what she want to be. First she was going to be a Ranger football player. Now she has decieded she wants to be a "baby doctor". We spent 45 minutes at Target trying to find a costume for her with no luck. Then it hit me... order it online. So it takes me a while. So here is Karagen's costume.
Reagan is going to be a Ranger cheerleader. I will post pictures of them I'm sure.

Favorite New Product
Okay, many of you know I've been TRYING to lose weight my entire life. I feel like if I throw this out there it will help me stick to it. This is the YEAR I'm going to lose all the weight and KEEP it off. I've been doing Weight Watchers since January 2007. I've lost 30 lbs so I feel like I've done pretty well. There is still more to lose! A friend of mine introduced me to this new product call Osolean. I've been taking it for a week and a half and I've lost 2 pounds.

It’s all natural and mixes with the foods and beverages you already enjoy. Best of all, OsoLean™ powder has been shown in a clinical study to help target fat loss and spare lean muscle when combined with the OsoLean Plan and proper exercise. I put it in my coffee in the morning and drink it with a glass of milk when I get home in the afternoon.
OsoLean powder is a specially formulated whey protein blend that includes an advanced protein peptide technology. Through a patented process, specific parts of whey protein, called peptides, are separated and concentrated to ensure the optimal level of fat-loss peptides. These peptides are blended with calcium-rich minerals from whey to make OsoLean powder. If you want more info let me know. I've signed up as a member. No I'm not selling anything it's just cheaper if you do this. Let me know if you want more info. They have all kinds of all natural products. I'm going to start the girls on the children's vitamins.
You do have to excersie at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. Believe it or not have have started running... Okay well I'm running in the pasture so no one sees me because I'm sure it's not a pretty sight but I've really enjoyed it. I actually look forward to it. I reflect on the day and clear my mind. I have also started doing Leslie Samsone "Walking a Home" videos.

I'm on my way to a happy, healthier me. THIS IS THE YEAR I"M GOING TO DO THIS. Check back soon and I'll keep you updated with my progress. It will hold me more accountable if I post it.

A Wonderful Weekend
I just love fun relaxing weekends. Friday, my mom took the girls home with her to have a girls night or as Kendall calls them a sleep over. My wonderful husband brought home dinner from a fundraiser they were having at work. So not only did I not have anyone to cook for but I didn't have to cook. What more could any Mom ask for. I was in bed and asleep by 9:00. It was so nice to be able to do this. THANKS MOM for letting me have a night to myself. Saturday and Sunday were just plan fun. Karagen had softball practice for a few hours and then we went to lunch. Karagen feet are gr owning like a weed so she needed new cleats so we did some shopping. Ryan's family came over for dinner and we played a few rounds of Redneck Golf.If you have never heard of this game it is so fun.

On Sunday, we rode around on the four wheeler most of the day. Karagen had bowling practice for an hour so we went to the bowling alley. Reagan got to play at her Omie Margie's house without anyone to bother her. She was in Heaven. In case I hadn't mentioned it Reagan is some what of a loner. She could care less what others are doing.
I did get to clean out my closet which is a HUGE task. I put another dresser to hold our T-shirts and shorts. I was tired of shoving them in the other dresser or having them fall off the shelves. So it was some what of a productive weekend. Hope you had a great one.
